Black Owned Wine Businesses You Should Know – My Winespill

As protests rage across the United States, calling for an end to police brutality and injustice for the murder of George Floyd, there are many ways you can take action in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and the black community. Along with donating to organizations that are combatting racial injustice, support and shop black-owned businesses. Start by purchasing wine from one of these black-owned wineries.

Their grapes are sourced globally which allows them to make over 50 different kinds of wine using grapes from the best grape growing regions in the world. Brown Estate

The Brown family started working in the wine business in the 1980’s. In 1980 our parents purchased an abandoned ranch in the eastern hills of the Napa Valley. They rehabilitated the crumbling homestead and planted viniferous grapes—which for a decade they farmed and sold to local winemakers. In 1995 the kids began making their own wine.
